Restoration

Restoration is an act of care. It is a way of preserving the stories, materials, and craftsmanship embedded in existing object or interior while allowing them to continue their life in a meaningful way.

Our Editions connects clients with skilled restorers and craftspeople who understand the value of well-made furniture, objects, and interiors. Whether it is a treasured family piece, a design classic, or an object with a personal history, restoration offers an alternative to replacing what already carries meaning.

We believe that time does not diminish the value of an object. Wear, repairs, and patina can become part of its story, revealing the craftsmanship and life that have shaped it. Through careful restoration, an object can be renewed while respecting its original character, materials, and history.

Our network brings together specialists in traditional techniques, material knowledge, and contemporary approaches to restoration. Each project is considered individually, with respect for the object itself and the expertise required to preserve it for the future.

Our Process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    01 See the potential

Every project begins with an object, a space or a detail that no longer serves its purpose, or simply asks for a care. Rather than replacing it, we begin by asking what could be preserved.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and half circle lines.

    02 Explore the Possibilities

Together we discuss your project. We help define the right approach, whether that means restoration, repair, refinishing, reupholstery or a thoughtful redesign. Every project is considered individually.

    03 The right match

Based on the project, we carefully select restorers, makers and craftspeople from our trusted network. Each collaborator is chosen for their expertise, material knowledge and commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.

    04 A New Chapter

The restored object or interior returns to everyday life, not as something made new, but as something made to last. Preserving its history, celebrating its craftsmanship, and allowing its story to continue.
